Celebrate NSW Readers Week (Sep 1st - 8th 2008) by creating your own motivational Reading Poster! If you are a member of photosharing website http://flickr.com, you can share how much you love reading with NSW and the world by creating your own motivational reading poster! Here’s how:1. Join the flickr group Reading Around Our Region - NSW Readers Week 2008: http://www.flickr.com/groups/779314@N25/2.
Take a photo that expresses how you feel about reading.3. Create a poster featuring your image at Big Huge Labs by using their Motivator mashup for flickr: http://bighugelabs.com/flickr/motivator.php4.
Once you have created your poster with Motivator, follow the upload to flickr link and tag your photo with rwmot.5.
Add your photo to the flickr group Reading Around our Region: NSW Readers Week 2008, so that everyone else can see your poster. (Hint, you can find your way back to this group by following the Groups link from your flickr page, you then follow the Add photos or video link to search your photostream for your photo and add it to the group pool) Check and see if your local library is running a competition for the best motivational Reading poster - there could be goodies and prestige in it for you! If you don’t want to take your own photos, you can even use photos from flickr that other people have taken, as long as they have a creative commons licence that allows for reproduction and adaptation of their work, but don’t forget to attribute the creator!
