Australian Book BingeThis is a featured page

1 month of mega-reading in April 2010!

We ask that you try and pack as much reading into April as you possibly can. Post your reading choices to this page and remember that for this particular challenge, it's not so much about quality as it is about quantity!

The Australian Book Binge is open to staff from ACT, NSW and NT public libraries.

The aim is to further understand the diversity of readers who use our libraries and the items they choose to read.

There will be individual prizes at the end of the year for staff that have participated. Your reading experience can vary from blogs, magazines, novels, children's books - anything that helps you better understand the world of the reader and your customers reading tastes and preferences.

So broaden your horizons this April and bury yourself in many a book!

Add your name to our Book Binge page page and list all your reading items throughout April.

Vassiliki My Book Binge last year 2 Apr 6 2010, 9:33 PM EDT by Vassiliki

I did a book binge following the rules at It's Not all Mary Poppins blog http://daycaredaze.wordpress.com/ last year. It was a month of sandwiches and salads for my kids and they were egging me on to read more and more! It was fun, inspiring, sleepless and a total binge. Oh - and I predominately binged on my favourite reading genres - Romance and Humour. Let's see how I go this year!
